How to make Mutton Chops

Ingredients 

  • Mutton chops - 500 grams

  • Red chilli sauce - 1 teaspoon

  • Dark soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

  • Light soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic minced - 1 tablespoon

  • Salt 

  • Black pepper powder

  • Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) - 1 teaspoon

  • Sesame oil (til oil) - 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 

  • Cornflour/ corn starch

  • Onion-garlic 

Method

Step 1

Take the mutton chops pieces into a bowl. Add chilli sauce, light soy sauce, garlic, dark soy sauce, salt, pepper powder, vinegar, castor sugar and sesame oil to it and mix well. Keep aside to marinate for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan. Add some mutton chops along with the marinate and also 1 cup water. Stir well and boil for sometime. Cover and cook for another 30 minutes. Remove from heat and keep to cool to room temperature.

Step 3

The heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Spread some cornflour on a plate.

Step 4

Dab the mutton chops in the cornflour and deep-fry in hot oil till it turns golden brown and crisp. Drain on tissue paper.

Step 5

Sprinkle onion, garlic and salt on top of it and it is ready to be served.
